A 63-year-old Florida man was travelling northbound on the parkway on Monday when he crossed over the double yellow line on a curve, continued off the opposite side of the road, collided with a fallen tree, and was ejected from his motorcycle. Rangers and EMS personnel responded but could not revive him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was travelling with several other riders at the time, one of whom witnessed the event.
