what faux-toe site do you use?

If you use Picasa and use win-doze... then display the picture... and right clicky to get image info

Example:
Dis one:
https://picasaweb.google.com/yosemite.chick.on/LuvDaBird#5379689749969151874

Produces this url for the picture:
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-uB4bNfklqk4/Sqh_UyS4p4I/AAAAAAAAADk/zWmZuPcZHdk/s640/WatchFor.jpg

Which shows up as:

when surrounded by [ img ] and [ /img ]

NO!
It means watch out or the chikin will sneak into your pack to hitch a free ride.

On this forum, images cannot be loaded directly (otherwise this forum would probably run out of disk space very quickly).

Instead, if you want to add a photo to your message, you need to provide a link to it. In other words, your photo needs to be already uploaded somewhere online where it can be viewed publicly.

If you don't already have access to an online photo service, you can easily (for free) use Google's Picasa Web Album service (https://picasaweb.google.com/) to upload your photos online. And then you could link your photos on Picasa to your message on this message board. A lot of forum members already do this.

An alternative would be to use a free service like Tinypic (http://tinypic.com) to upload a few photos at a time to the internet, and then use the URL they provide for those photos to link your photos to your message on this forum.

It needs to be placed somewhere else, which would provide the bandwidth.

There are various ways you could do it. Many use photo hosting services like Flickr or Imageshack. Another would be to simply use a photo that's already available.

Here's a URL:

http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4148/5045866904_c39883a76b_z.jpg

And this is what it looks like when the proper syntax is used (the board software detects that it should find a photo on the internet and display it inline):

It actually looks like this:

Edit: remove spaces and escape tags
