Re: Horseback Rides in Yosemite

Trying to get a comparison of the trail rides from both Toulumne Meadows Stable and the Valley Stable. We did the 2-hour ride from Toulumne Stable and wish we would have chosen the Half Day ride instead. Is this worth it or is the valley half day ride better? Or are the full day rides the way to go?

I did the 2 hour ride in the valley and the half day (or maybe 2 hour can't really remember) up in TM. I don't know where the half day from the valley goes, can you tell us?

The 1/2 Day Rides from the Yosemite Valley Stables in the past have gone up to Clark's Point on the John Muir Trail.

Do the half day in the valley, that is a great destination. The 2 hour ride just goes to the base of half dome and mirror lake. (unless that is changed since the rock fall)
