From the forecast discussion (Hanford):

The medium range models and their ensemble members are showing
Better agreement today with a fast moving system pushing through
The pac nw and norcal on saturday which may bring a brief period
Of precipitation to our area on saturday afternoon and evening.
Another shortwave ridge will bring a drying trend to our area on
Sunday before a colder and potentially wet upper trough pushes
Through ca monday night and tuesday...Bringing another period of
Unsettled weather to our area and possibly some significant
Beneficial rains and mountain snowfall.
