As a Peer1 customer with services in our San Antonio Data Center
(SAT), we would like to notify you of the upcoming, scheduled
maintenance window that will entail the physical migration of your
server solution to new cabinets.

This required maintenance allows us to continue to improve our
infrastructure, as well as expand our facilities in order to best
support you, our customer. Server(s) 81797::17932-4 will be moved
between the hours of 7:00PM CT and 9:00PM CT on April 11th, 2014. Peer
1 Data Center Engineers will complete the physical server migration
from the cabinet where your solution is currently housed to a new
location within the Data Center. Please take note that there will be
an interruption of service during this time.

Peer1 strongly recommends that in the days prior to this maintenance
window, you reboot the server(s) that will be impacted to ensure your
systems restart properly. We also ask that you please gracefully shut
down the affected servers in the hour preceding this window.

So with their scheduled shutdown planned for Friday, April 11th at 5:00 PM (Pacific Time), are you planning to shutdown this site at around 4:00 PM (Pacific Time)?

Also are you planning to reboot your servers before hand (as requested)? If so, when will that be and how long to you estimate it will take?

It depends on my person schedule. But mostly likely will be close to the deadline.

I have been meaning to do a reboot anyway to activate the latest kernel update. Just need to find a good time to do it.

Just did a reboot. Worked fine but took long enough to get me to start worrying.
