I'm interested in snowshoeing in to the Ski Hut at Tioga Pass June 1 to June 5.

Does anyone know if the hut will still be open?

Do I have to hike all the way from Lee Vining, mostly on plowed road, or is there a way to drive up and park or drop off equipment closer to the pass?
