I've always said that there just aren't enough golf courses in Florida.
Sometimes you have to even go more than a mile to find the next one. It's an outrage.
And you know what's worse? No golf courses in our state parks.
That's right. Florida has 160 state parks, where you'll find all manifestations of "nature," but not a single pesticide-soaked, fresh-water-sucking, bulldozer-carved golf course. Not to mention the appalling lack of roving beer carts and people from New Jersey looking for their lost balls.
Fortunately, we have some new leadership in our state that realizes it's time to improve the boring nature that dominates public parks.
