Okay, that hike last Sunday might have been a bit much for my feet. Anybody have advice for dealing with a blister on the ball of my foot?

I get them too. At 240 plus I get them but anything less and I don't. I've done different socks, liners, boots, shoes, and it seems the weight is the thing.

hi eeek,

try swabbing a combination of tea tree oil and vitamin E oil on the blister. The tea tree oil will help shrink it, and prevent infection, and the vit. E oil will keep it soft so it won't crack...that's my two cents

Soaking in a hot spring seems to have fixed it. Looks like I'll be back on the trail.
