Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area (MT,WY)

A driver found the dead horses along U.S. Highway 37 near Crooked Creek Bay and notified rangers and county deputies. The horses were identified as "Admiral" and "Kapitan/Climbs High." Investigation led to the arrest of a 26-year-old man from Germantown, Tennessee, on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was also issues citations for operating a vehicle with a breath alcohol concentration of .08 or greater, unsafe operation/failure to maintain control, destruction of natural resources, and moving a vehicle from an accident scene.
