The Wikipedia 24 hour blackout* and less dramatic Google Doodle* * in response to proposed legislation (SOPA and PIPA) in Congress dealing with proprietary use of the Internet and protection of copyright may be the future of political action. It will be interesting to see which institution, the Internet or Congress, is more powerful.

The Regressives and their need to stifle free thought hold quite a bit of power right now.
