Kurtis Productions obtained a film permit to create a documentary about Search & Rescue in the National Park Service. As a pilot they chose Yosemite. The pilot has been completed and will be aired next week, on Monday, August 11, 2008, at 10pm. The program has been titled "Dangerous Season: Yosemite Search & Rescue" and will be played on the Discovery Channel.

Can you double check the time? I am seeing that this is on the Discovery Channel @ 9:00 pm Aug. 16 not tonite @ 10:00 pm

Charter Cable here in Reno says Saturday 9 p.m., and repeat Sunday 1 a.m.

OK, now I see this will show on Aug. 30 @ 8:00 pm and Aug. 31 @ 12:00 am. Don't know if I missed any earlier showings or not. Sure wish the Discovery Channel would get its act together.
