 El Portal Road at the "narrows"

Work to expose the electrical vaults will occur on Thursday evening, August 28. Replacement of the damaged electrical wiring is scheduled for September 2, 3 & 4 and will require power outages for Yosemite Valley/Glacier Point from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Final paving is scheduled after electrical repairs are completed.

Seems like all those days during the fire when the power was off could have been used to do this.
