Bristlecone Pine Forest reminder Sept. 20
Author: Vince
Date:   09-18-08 14:48

Please attend if you are in the Eastern Sierra/Bishop/Big Pine area. Authors of three books about the Ancient trees will be on hand for a book signing. Gotta remember to bring some extra cash...

The Schulman Grove Visitor Center was burned to the ground on Sept. 4, cause pending (gee how did that happen).

The gathering will include refreshments, presentations, and music, hopefully nothing with sub-woofers. Be there at 1 p.m. (I will be there much earlier than that).

Here's the Forest Service News Release.

I'll come back with info about how to donate for the reconstruction of the visitor center 2009.
