The Other Sawtooths

Went to Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho via Salt Lake City.
Hiked up Bell Canyon near Salt Lake City. Trekking poles were useful on the steep trail.

In Idaho we hiked up near Sawtooth Lake. There was lots of snow near the lake.

We tried hiking to Alice Lake, but didn't try the robust stream crossing. We went up to Farley Lake on the other side of the Alice Toxaway loop.
We did make it across this stream crossing. There was a large bouncy log that could be crossed here, but we opted for water shoes:

We took the boat shuttle across Redfish Lake and hiked to Bench Lakes.

Next we headed over to Pinedale Wyoming to check out Green River Lakes:



Did a short side trail part way up Clear Creek:






Then went to the 2nd Green River Lake:



Then back to Salt Lake City and then home.
