Cute video, thanks!

I'm pretty sure the bird is one of these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hooded_crow

A year or two ago I happened to catch a ranger presentation about ravens. The ranger was telling us about a mated pair of ravens, "Edgar" and "Annabel," who lived near the Big Oak Flat entrance. When there was snow on the roof of the ranger station, the whole family would fly up to the roof, walk sideways along the ridge to their preferred spot near the middle, and slide down on their bellies. The ranger said they always went down in the same order: adult, then baby, then other baby, then other adult.

Of course being Yosemite, the ravens would be glissading instead of snowboarding! wink
