Can someone name the very first campground on the right going east after leaving the Tioga Pass gate? It's on Ellery Lake but not the main campgound and only a mile or less from the gate. There are only a few sites (maybe 8 or 10) and all can be seen from route 120.
I'm planning a two week trip in the Valley and along Tioga Pass in September and would like to once again stay there. It's cold and windy most afternoons and evenings but not bad in the motorhome. Fishing was great during past stays there.
