vogelsang to sunrise cross country

Any one with experience on this route? Last summer I met a father/daughter staying in our tent at Sunrise camp who were going to vogelsang from Sunrise. Looks like my daughter Thea and I will going the opposite direction this summer. If you are out there let me know how your trip went! Anyone else with first hand experience on this route, thoughts would be appreciated. George
