<P>Fire danger is extreme in the Eastern Sierra right now. If you are going into the mountains for this 4th of July PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL. Also note that Mono County has a ban on ALL fireworks and this ban will be strictly enforced. Inyo County is also expected to put a ban on fireworks before the 4th. Please do not bring fireworks into the mountains this year. Also the forest service has banned campfires, stoves, and many other things, including smoking, in all areas except recreational areas.</HTML>
