Not sure why this didn't show up on my news page earlier.

I guess the recent rain helped the slide slip a little more than it has been over the past few months.

Interesting! If they had been there when I passed by mid day last Tuesday after the first of the two fronts dropped a foot of snow in the valley, they might be a bit more worried. As I was parked on the west end waiting for the green light, a slide occurred that caused a huge splash, maybe 30 feet high. From that position, I could not see the slope nor the river a quarter mile or so upstream, but could see the position above the river and a large rock apparently rolled in at good speed. Then about 5 minutes later the green light came on. There was still dust in the air as we drove by the actual slide.
