Petition to save Yosemite Valley campgrounds

In the past several years, Yosemite National Park has removed over half of OUR campsites from Yosemite Valley, while currently they are in the process of expanding hotel lodging in the valley and changing the park to accommodate more tour bus business. The National Park Service is forcing vehicle campers out, while they spend millions of public dollars to widen and straighten roads in order to accommodate shuttles from outside the park gate newly built hotels, something that they admit to.

The tradition of family camping in Yosemite is in jeopardy, because park managers prefer hotel guests over campers. Campers don't spend as much money in their restaurants, and there is more profit in catering to international tourists.
