I'm planning a 4 day trip in early August from Tuolumne Meadows to Cold and Virginia Canyons and out at the Virginia Lakes. Can anyone tell me anything about (i) water in the canyons? (ii) mosquito situation as of now? (iii) fires in the Park? On the fire issue, someone told me they heard on the news that there are fires in the Park. I didn't see anything on the web about fires. Anyone heard anything? Thanks!
