I heard there were winds of over 70 MPH in Tioga Pass on Friday morning. Good time not to be hiking there winking smiley

Driving from Reno to parents house in San Diego on Friday the winds were gusty but livable until below Cajon Pass, then it tossed my truck around pretty good on the I-15. By the time I settled in at 38:30N 116:19W the wind was gusting over 50 to 80. I wouldn't doubt the entire Sierra crest is nasty like it is down here in San Diego.
