If you want to see the Bill go to

And Search on "Search Bill Summary and Status".
Click on Bill Number radio button and Type "S.22".
(Senate Bill 22)
If you click on Text of Legislation you can choose S.22.ES ...

I couldn't quickly find the maps... but.. if you have seen maps in
recent years that have said "Proposed Wilderness Addition" ... that is it...
Such as adjacent to Hoover and Ansel Adams.

I like the part of the bill that protects the White Mountains. But seems to me most of the stuff in the bill is more or less protected anyway. I look for more "protections" under the Obama administration that makes it off limits to get the oil and gas under Colorado and Montana, and thus further strangulate the US economy.

In case some (one???) of you haven't been paying attention, it has been the rampant deregulation policies that have devastated the economy.

Based on what I have seen, it's the mining operations that do the most physical damage, as compared to the oil and gas explorations.

I have always believed that they could open up the mineral rights, gas exploration, and coal mining on every inch of this beautiful country, and it would never be enough. Its a favorite rant of mine that as I take my frequent trips to Az, I am amazed at how few of the buildings, homes, etc., in the ever sunny Ca deserts have solar panels....but...I am sure that this is probably a discussion meant for another topic heading..!
