This is a work in progress

This being the best time of year to view waterfalls in the Valley, I thought it might be interesting to put together (like birder's do) a "Checklist" of waterfalls for the valley. I would propose the following conditions:
Waterfalls visible (with some walking) within boundaries of the NPS Yosemite Valley Map.

http://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/upload/yosevalley2008.pdf

Waterfall defined as a stream of rapidly moving or free falling water sometimes seasonally present generally considered a scenic attraction:

I have arranged them more or less going clockwise around the valley (which would make them more visible on the counterclockwise traffic pattern). I count 20 (not including the extinct falls).

Proposed List:
Wildcat Falls next to Cascades near Arch Rock
Tamarack Falls
“The Cascades” from Cascade and Tamarack Creek
Ribbon Fall
Horsetail/El Capitan Falls
Yosemite Falls
Lehamite Falls (?from Indian Canyon Creek)
Royal Arch Cascade
Snow Creek Fall (up Tenaya Canyon)
Tenaya Falls (up Tenaya Canyon) ?Three Chutes ? Hidden Falls
Tanechka Fall (up Tenaya Canyon)
Nevada Fall
Vernal + Silver Apron (count 2)
Illilouette Fall
Staircase Fall
Sentinel Falls
? unnamed Falls east of Silver Strand (Goat Fallz?) vs Widows Tears Falls
Silver Strand Fall (sometimes called Widow’s Tears)
Bridelveil Falls
-----
extinct falls:
Firefall Fall

You've covered the Merced river drainage well, but not the Tuolumne.

So you can add:

Glen Aulin Falls
Waterwheel cascades
Rancheria Falls
Wapama Falls
Tueelala Falls

There's another falls in the Valley right now between Illiouette and Glacier Point.
It's going pretty good. Unnamed... Bee can have that one...

Bee Falls

Yes, in this case, the flow of water that befalls should be named Bee Falls.
Can you label or locate it on this map,(tagged and labelled Goat's Bee Falls, on Flickr. Public access)
I assume you can locate the pic directly if you paste the url into ur browser.

It is probably a drainage from an icefield and I doubt that there is a trail to it.
