It is not shaping up to be the best wildflower year we’ve ever seen in this part of the Eastern Sierra, but there is still plenty to appreciate, especially if you have the time to slow down and enjoy the individual blooms and small groups of flowers. Most places aren’t providing the stunning displays we’ve been spoiled by some of the past few years.
