Bozeman makes list of best cities to raise an outdoor kid

Bozeman has been named one of the best in the nation to raise an outdoor kid. The article in Backpacker Magazine lists Bozeman number 18 of its top 25.

But Yosemite isn't in Bozeman. Neither is SEKI or Desolation or Emigrant or Dinkey.

I think the best place to raise an outdoor kid is with an outdoor family. If you aren't motivated to go you won't take the kid. I work with strange people who have never even bothered to go to Yosemite despite the fact that it's outside our back door.
