The newest developments in the issue surrounding Calpine Corporation’s proposed geothermal power plant at Medicine Lake’s Fourmile Hill area occurred March 10 as plaintiffs argued that the original leases granting Calpine permission to pursue geothermal energy have expired and that the land should no longer belong to the company.
