Yosemite Hotels/Lodges..

I'm visiting Yosemite with my family on the 2nd weekend in November and was wondering what the best hotel/lodge would be to stay at? We will be driving up friday evening..spending saturday doing sightseeing/tourist stuff and leaving sunday. I'd like to pick a place that is relativley close to half-dome or the valley..since thats where the most touristy stuff will be. Definitly no hiking, family walks yes but my parents are old and they have never seen yosemite or any NP for that matter. Cost is not a problem...any suggestions?

If cost is not object, the Ahwahnee hotel in the Valley is what you want.
