It's freezing cold, I am in a tent and scared out of my wits. Just a few feet from my head I can hear the grunts and growls of one of the world's largest land predators - a US black bear.

Last night a raccoon tried to suicide by running into my left front tire. I braked and swerved a bit and honked the horn. He'll have to find some other car to kill himself with.
