I failed to mention I plan on patronizing the author at his book signing on the 31st of this month and donate a couple copies to the Mariposa museum

looks very interesting... i'll probably end up buying it.

it has nothing to do with Yosemite, but my wife bought a book called Final Exists that is pretty intersesting... it's all about strange ways people have died. good bathroom reading. lol

If you want to read a grotesquely mesmerizing book about death in real life ;-), try "Death in Yellowstone" by Lee Whittlesey - you will never feel the same way about geyser basins again!

Watch out - National parks will kill ya!

I will probably check out the book as well. Anyone here read anything else by the author? Yosemite Park sure is beautiful.
