Re: Storm Coming

A fair sized storm is supposed to drop some snow in Yosemite on Wednesday and Wednesday night. This might be a chance to get some good late season snow pix in the valley. That is if the snow level drops low enough.

I just found this forum, but coincidentally we were camping at just the time you mentioned. It rained all day Wednesday, and much of the night, but when I climbed out of the tent at 6:30, I found this:

So your prediction was right on.

Unfortunately we had to pack up and be out of the campground by 10AM, so my photo time was limited. By 10 you could hardly tell it had snowed in the valley.

That is a great shot and probably quit rare.

It was definitely worth staying a day in the rain for the visual reward we got the next morning.
