Rescue attempts on Mount Hood continue to be attempted when no rescuer is in danger.

Where do you draw YOUR line on safe climbing or hiking? I turned back on the Whitney trail three times because it just wasn't right (summited two other times). Usually I just keep going (wherever you go, there you are) but there are times I just quit and say that's enough.
