I originally wanted to just ask if anyone knows anything about Railrider's Versatec pants? Own them, like them , tried them at a store, etc. ?

And, given the question, I figured this could easily become a share your gear/clothing thread...


I'll start by bumping the Patagonia Drifter- great shoes, comfy, grips granite very well, and light... Pricy but I picked mine up on Sierra Trading Post for a discount.

CB, have you checked out Trailspace.com??? It is a fantastic collection of information on just about any piece of hiking equip/clothing you can think of.

Railriders are my favorite hiking pants. Don't know the specific model. They wear like iron. Quick dry and light. Costly.
