Hummingbirds Documentary on PBS recently aired definitely worth the time:

Full episode available here: http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/episodes/hummingbirds-magic-in-the-air/video-full-episode/5475/

Habitat survival techniques, reproduction and mating, insect eating, nesting, feeding lots of detail and "new" behavior detailed. Includes some shots near San Francisco Bay on Annas Hummingbird courtship display.

Also check out the notes (video) by filmmaker.

Thank you for pointing this out; my parents are shut-ins and they really really enjoyed this program! (they are avid hummingbird fans and they have several feeders which are very active year round)

That NATURE PBS link has many full episodes of programs. The most recent one is a Bob Landis film on Clashes between Wolves and Bears. Doesn't disappoint.
