Tuolumne Meadows to the Valley

Hello,
I'm planning a backpacking trip in Yosemite this Summer and I'm wondering if anyone has any insight on hiking from Tuolumne Meadows to the Valley floor. What I'd like to do is drive to the Valley and take the backpackers bus up to the meadows, then backpack our way back down. Any tips do doing this? Do's and Don'ts? Thanks!

I've done it a couple of times. Which route are you planning on taking?

There are three or four great routes to take. The main piece of information needed is how many days you have to backpack your way down to the valley floor from TM.
