(Those not following this Starbucks story will want to know that the company has chosen to permit legally carried guns in its shops although the company has the option to restrict those guns and similar establishments have restricted the gratuitous display of firearms. A boycott has been advocated.)

No Guns at Starbucks, at Least at Annual Meeting Today

There won't be any guns carried by the shareholders attending today's annual meeting of the Starbucks Coffee Company (NASDAQ: SBUX). It's not allowed. Guns aren't allowed in the company's corporate headquarters, either. And employees in its more than 8,000 company-owned stores aren't allowed to bring guns to work. ....

[Personally, I don't think that Starbucks' coffee is all that great. Peet's coffee beats it all to hell.]

I agree about the coffee being better at Peet's. Unfortunately all the Peet's people and customers are a bunch of left wing, anti-gun, bleeding heart, tree hugging, commie pinko sickies. No guns. Sheesh!
