Fireworks at Fort Smith Canceled

The annual Independence Day (July 4) fireworks display held at Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area’s North District at Fort Smith, Montana has been canceled for 2010. Those that sponsored and provided the event in previous years have elected not to do so this year. The park regrets that the fireworks will not occur and we hope to see the fireworks once again in 2011.
We hope you may still consider coming to your National Recreation Area to enjoy all of the other summertime benefits it has to offer on the holiday weekend.
