A deer scared her enough to use a gun???

Apparently, apprehension is sufficient reason to discharge a firearm in Glacier NP. It appears to place the burden upon wildlife to avoid scaring any visitors. I suggest an education program for wildlife to indoctrinate them about this new regulation.

The use of the weapon as a noisemaker suggest that now it will be acceptable to use a weapon for signaling, for fire-starting, or perhaps to assist in putting holes in items used for camp crafts.

I was going to suggest using blanks for noisemaking and signaling but that would leave out fire starting and camp crafts.
