The man responsible for snapping the dramatic photographs of a bison being chased by a grizzly bear has surfaced, providing sister station KTVQ in Billings with more pictures and the end to the tale.

Amazing the bison was able to outrun the grizzly, too bad the bison had to be put down. Incredible photos

So amazing. And I hope I never ever see a grizzly running toward me, even if it is chasing another animal.

Rumor has it that you run down hill. Supposedly (hopefully?) their front legs are shorter than their back legs and they'll trip if they go down too steep an incline. With my luck, the bear would trip and roll faster - right on top of me.
