I've finally compiled a trip report from our journey last month from Tuolumne to the valley:

The route is, I'm sure, very familiar to many of you, but for us it was all new and a joy. Thanks to those of you who helped with trip planning.

Good report. We may have chatted online before you headed out. Sharon and I did a similiar route at the end of September (except we did the luxury version at the HSC's).

I enjoyed your report and pictures QuailHiker. It brings back fond memories.

In a recent trip I wanted to shoot video of wildlife. I saw squirrels, birds and deer. My wife went on some walks by herself and saw (in addition to squirrels, birds and deer) momma & baby bear playing in the river and a couple of bobcats (like you did). Figures.
