avatar Body and vehicle of stranded motorist found on Forest Service road in Oregon

A U.S. Forest Service survey crew in Oregon found a man dead inside a sleeping bag in his pickup truck near Marion Forks. According to a calendar/journal he kept, the man, Jerry McDonald, 68, survived for around 60 days in the wilderness before succumbing to starvation. He had become stranded on Feb. 14th and his last journel entry was on April 15th.

No one had filed a missing persons report on him.

Four miles from an unincorporated community of Marion Forks. Presumably even if only seasonally inhabited, it would have had some shelter. Strange story and one has to wonder about the man's thought process. Reminds me of the book "Deep Survival", which discusses why certain people survive disasters and others perish.

The cure for a fallacious argument is a better argument, not the suppression of ideas.

Vehicle=> Tires => Fire => Smoke => !!!!!!!!

The body betrays and the weather conspires, hopefully, not on the same day.
