Beginning next Monday--March 3rd, a contractor will begin mobilizing to complete slide repairs on the Big Oak Flat Road (Just north of the Foresta Road intersection or 3-miles north of the El Portal Road Intersection).
The project is scheduled to be complete in 6-weeks. Traffic thru the sight will be limited to one-lane with signal lights controlling traffic 24/7 with up to 15-minute delays. They are trying to time the lights with the release of the El Portal Road traffic, however because our delay times are different it will not always work out that the timing will coincide with the El Portal Road traffic release. Hours Of Work 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
