I think I know the market.



My National Geographic Trails Illustrated map for Yosemite shows that El Portal isn't even on Forest Service land. I wasn't all that aware that the NPS had offices in El Portal and apparently some sort of limited jurisdiction, even though it's outside of the park bounaries.

Thanks for the link Rob

First reaction would be hanky-panky during a renovation, but no arson is suspected...I wouldn't dismiss it so easily considering the fight ongoing about renovations inside the park.
