Glen Aulin in Mid June

I've got a wilderness permit to hike Glen Aulin, Waterwheel and Camp May beginning June 19th. Any idea what kind of conditions I might expect as far as snow conditions and/or mosquitos? This is my first backpacking trip into the high country, and I am very excited! Thanks for any info

It should be great then. No snow, lots of water in the river, and I believe that the mosquitoes will be minimal due to the dry season last year.

It'll depend on the weather a week or two before the trip (i.e. how cold the nights were) more than how dry the season is. June won't be dry no matter what.

I'm thinking that there were fewer eggs laid last year due to the dryness so maybe this year the hatch will be smaller than normal.
