Devils Postpile National Monument is scheduled to open Saturday, June 7. Campgrounds in the area (Reds Meadow, Minaret Falls, Pumice Flat, Upper Soda Springs, Agnew Meadows) are scheduled to open Friday, June 6.

However someone who works where I work was just through the area over the long weekend and said the signs along 395 indicate the Postpile is already open? Can anyone verify this?

LINE - FOR THE WINTER - MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE

As of Thursday night, the road is open.

The road was open only to the Summit as of yesterday.

Thats OK the campgrounds in the river valley aren't open till Friday 6/6 anyway
