Managed to catch a piece of wood with the heel of my boot. It rolled forward and I step on it. Result: rammed kneecap into trail. This was 2 miles into a 9 mile hike. Now I'm wondering what walking will be like tomorrow. <sigh>

So far it's mostly just stuff today. Not as bad as I was fearing.
