...RAIN AND HIGH ELEVATION SNOW LIKELY TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY...

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL DEVELOP IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC
MONDAY...THEN MOVE INTO CALIFORNIA TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. THIS
WILL BRING A GOOD CHANCE OF RAIN TO THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
INTERIOR.

RAIN AND HIGHER ELEVATION SNOW COULD ARRIVE AS EARLY AS MONDAY
NIGHT...BUT MORE LIKELY TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. SNOW LEVELS
WILL REMAIN RELATIVELY HIGH TUESDAY...7000 FEET OR HIGHER AS THE
FLOW ALOFT WILL BE SOUTHERLY...THEN LOWER TO 6000 FEET TUESDAY
NIGHT. AS COLDER AIR REACHES THE AREA WEDNESDAY...THE SNOW LEVEL
MAY LOWER A LITTLE MORE TO AROUND 5500 FEET. TRAVEL PROBLEMS DUE
TO SNOW ARE NOT EXPECTED ACROSS THE KERN COUNTY MOUNTAIN
PASSES...INCLUDING I-5 OVER THE GRAPEVINE...THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

THERE IS HOWEVER...A SMALL THREAT THAT SOME LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS
COULD DEVELOP OVER THE KERN COUNTY MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS LATE
TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND TUESDAY NIGHT.

A SECOND SYSTEM COULD POTENTIALLY BRING SOME COLDER AIR AND MORE
UNSETTLED WEATHER LATER THANKSGIVING DAY...AND THE REMAINDER OF
THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND. HOWEVER...DETAILS WITH THIS SYSTEM ARE
BECOMING LESS CLEAR.

HOLIDAY TRAVELERS SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR FORECASTS OVER THE NEXT
SEVERAL DAYS...AS CHANGES IN THE FORECAST COULD OCCUR RATHER
QUICKLY.

LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR YOUR LOCAL MEDIA FOR THE LATEST
UPDATES ON THIS CHANGING WEATHER PATTERN.

They cancelled the waether statement for the Tahoe region. Looks like it's mostly headed for Yosemite.
