Waterfall conditions in august?

I am planning to hike halfdome on a thursday in august (yes i know the cables might be crowded, im leaving early) but I dont know how much water will be in the river and falls in the third week of august. what do they usually look like then? pictures?

There should be some water in Vernal and Nevada Falls, but the amount is not possible to predict this time of year. On a wet year, you might have a pretty decent flow.

There are a couple of pics of the falls in early August 2006 in the following album, but that year had a heavy snowpack.

That year, even at the end of October, Vernal was a nice but not huge waterfall, and that might be closer to what you see if it's a dry year:

There should be enough to drink(processed by chemical or filtered) in August if that was part of your question. Not much after Little Yosemite Valley.

I was in and around the valley on Aug 14 2008, and because it was an exceptionally dry year, the falls were really thin or non-existant in some places (the one that is normally visible in the Valley -- Bridalveil?-- was dry) From Sentinal Dome, I could see that Nevada Falls was still running, though.
