avatar Yellowstone Accepting Applications From Businesses Interested In Offering Visitor Services
May 10, 2013 02:06PM
Yellowstone National Park has completed a Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) Plan that will help guide commercial services in the park. Several changes to the draft plan released for review in February of this year were made as a result of public input provided both online and at meetings held in five communities across the region. The plan includes a new open application process, new service categories, new operating plans, a new fee schedule, and a monitoring program.

Applications are now being accepted for those interested in providing the following services to park visitors: transportation (road-based) tours, photography, day hiking, skiing, biking, towing, motorized boating, and non-motorized boating. A copy of the CUA plan and information and permit application materials are available online at http://www.nps.gov/yell/parkmgmt/cua.htm. Interested businesses may also contact the park's Concessions Management Office at 307-344-2271 or YELL_Concessions@nps.gov for more information.
