It seems like someone from The Onion invaded the newsroom of the Bay Area's KTVU (Channel 2) earlier today.

Yes, it happened today. You can google KTVU Asiana 214 and read all the commentary about it.

KTVU producer, or whoever was in charge, shouldn't have his/her job anymore.

Some deserved credit to this anchorwoman for her pronunciation of third name, although she seemed clueless w/r to the prank.
